Delivering a Smile Makeover Experience with Injectable Composite by Dr. Anthony Tay
To be held on 22nd December 2019, GC Asia Dental presents a workshop on “Delivering a Smile Makeover Experience with Injectable Composite”. The programme consists of a lecture, hands-on session, and Q&A segment with Dr. Anthony Tay.
A smile makeover is a dental procedure that requires an aesthetic eye, an attention to details and good clinical hand skills. This complex treatment involves the utilisation of various techniques and materials to achieve an aesthetically pleasing result.
For the budget conscious, composite veneer treatment has always been a widely accepted and cost-effective option to a smile makeover. The injection moulding approach has the ability to transfer a pre-designed smile template, using highly flowable composite into the smile arch.
The introduction of a modern injectable high-strength, ultra-fine particle composite, together with clear PVS putty, has given an updated and renewed take on this technique.
In this workshop, Dr Anthony Tay will go through the detailed treatment planning and the step-by-step work flow instructions required to create a designer smile, using injectable composite. When done well, composite veneers can be a popular and cheaper alternative to the more costly porcelain equivalent, with great satisfactions from the aesthetic-conscious patients.
