Between 19 June and 19 August 2020, the IDEM 2020 Conference and Exhibition will offer dentistry professionals from across the world an opportunity to participate in pre-recorded and livestreamed learning sessions about the latest in dental research and practical techniques for clinical applications. They can discover new products and solutions, as well as learn from the industry’s leading practitioners, and connect with new and familiar colleagues through this digital platform.

For the first time, and only for this edition, IDEM 2020 will be conducted fully online. The event will take place as a continuous education program for the dentistry community between 19 June 2020 through to 19 August 2020. The 11th edition of IDEM 2020 (International Dental Exhibition and Meeting) is organised by Koelnmesse and the Singapore Dental Association and seeks to connect dentistry professionals from across the world with world-renowned clinicians, researchers and thought leaders.

“In keeping with the social distancing requirements for the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have reorganised IDEM 2020 as an online experience,” remarks Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Pte. Ltd. “We are offering dentistry professionals the flexibility to learn at their convenience, while ensuring that the functionality of the IDEM platform provides an enriching experience for them to both learn and connect with colleagues from across the world.”

IDEM 2020 Conference

The IDEM conference will help dentistry professionals to upskill and network from home by attending a mix of over 20 live and pre-recorded sessions online that will be consecutively uploaded over the two-month period. Registered delegates can earn over 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Points by attending conference sessions.

The online conference will feature multiple tracks, accessible to all registered delegates.

The Scientific Conference will present the latest in dental research, along with practical techniques for clinical applications. New this year to the conference is the Special Care Dentistry Symposium, which will spotlight the current best practices in caring for patients with medical conditions and physical or intellectual disabilities.

In addition, for the third edition running, the Dental Hygienist and Therapist Forum is dedicated to the challenges faced by dental hygienists and oral health therapists.

With a wide array of topics covered, this year’s conference will have something for every dental practitioner. Key conference sessions include:
