After careful consideration and monitoring of the ongoing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Nobel Biocare has made the difficult decision to postpone the Global Symposium in Las Vegas, NV originally scheduled for April 16-18, 2020.

The unprecedented circumstances presented by the coronavirus, the increasing health and safety concerns as well as travel restrictions in place have made it impossible for Nobel Biocare to hold a global event like the Global Symposium at this time. The leading innovator of implant-based dental restorations believes this decision is in the best interest of the health, safety, and well-being of customers, employees, and business partners.

The Nobel Biocare Global Symposium is postponed to early 2021. A new date and location will be communicated as soon as available.

For dental professionals who have already registered, registration will be automatically transferred and count for the 2021 event. Those who wish to cancel their participation will now be refunded their registration fees in full. Attendees who have made travel arrangements are urged to expedite hotel and flight cancellations. Local customer service teams or are contactable for any questions.

Nobel Biocare is committed to helping dental professionals advance at every level and education is an essential tool to achieve this goal. On April 16 to 18, a series of virtual educational sessions will be made available to all that had registered to the Nobel Biocare Global Symposium. Access to these virtual educational sessions will be communicated soon.

Dr Giacomo Fabbri will be conducting a live webinar with Q&A session, focusing on the Mucointegration™ principle and prosthetic considerations for achieving optimal hard and soft tissue outcomes on March 26 at 11am CET on Nobel Biocare’s YouTube channel
