Ackuretta has unveiled its next-generation UV curing oven, the CURIE Plus at a live global online launch event on 6 Sep. The brand-new biocompatible dental 3D printing curing oven is designed to enable the mass production of high-quality dental applications and reduce barriers to access for patients, according to the company.

CURIE Plus is engineered to maximise size and efficiency in one product featuring  an expanded chamber capacity that is capable of curing up to eight full arches simultaneously, matching the 3D printing capacity of the Ackuretta SOL. It also reportedly reduces curing time while providing accurate results with its broad UV wavelength coverage and 360o light distribution that ensures each layer is cured and removes the need to manually flip prints.

The CURIE Plus UV oven is built for compatibility with nitrogen sources that increase nitrogen saturation in the chamber to 95% which is said to enable more efficient light absorption. According to the company, users are ensured of unseen aesthetics, including improved colour transparency, smoothness, and up to 25% more flexural strength.

In addition, the CURIE Plus comes equipped with 5” touchscreen to monitor curing parameters and a one-click open/lock door mechanism to mitigate UV leakage. With its smart integration capabilities with SOL, users can reportedly simplify their workflow from print to cure, reduce error, and optimise their productivity.

Furthermore, CURIE Plus’ calibrated resin library is pre-programmed with industry-leading resins, including Class IIa biocompatible materials, to meet patient needs. Automatic wi-fi-enabled library updates ensure immediate access to the highest quality materials and conserve valuable time and effort.
