3D printing material specialist BEGO now offers a new, grey VarseoWax Model material for 3D printing of dental models. The resin impresses with a wide range of applications, user-friendly processing and high dimensional stability and precision of the printed models.
VarseoWax Model is the new BEGO resin for solid or hollow 3D printing of full and partial dental models as well as models with removable dies. It replaces the previously offered yellow VarseoWax Model material and is suitable for duplication with silicone or gel as well as for the fabrication of splints or aligners using the thermoforming technique. The dimensional stability as well as the smooth and pore-free surfaces of the printed models are the ideal basis for the fabrication of high-precision restorations.
The material also features high physical stability and is easy and error-free to process. The high material stability minimises sedimentation during storage and facilitates mixing.
The opaque grey colour of the models printed from VarseoWax Model ensures optimal visibility of all model contours and preparation margins. The models are resistant to moisture, can be insulated against adhesive wax, and are easy to clean. Its handling during processing is comparable to that of a conventional plaster model.
The new VarseoWax Model is suitable for processing in DLP 3D printers with a wavelength of 385nm to 405nm. Material files are currently available for all BEGO Varseo 3D printers (Varseo, Varseo XS, Varseo S and Varseo L) and for the Asiga* Max UV.
For the BEGO 3D printers Varseo, Varseo S and Varseo L, the material file is downloaded in the course of an automatic update. To print the new material, select the material file with the name “VarseoWax Model gray”. When selecting the new material file, new functions are also available in the nesting software CAMcreator Print. More information on this and a quick guide to nesting print jobs from the new VarseoWax Model will soon be available on the BEGO website.
VarseoWax Model (grey) is available in two container sizes: as a one kilogram bottle (REF 41140) or as a 250gm bottle (REF 41141).**
