Drs. David Fantarella and Jeffrey Rohde to Perform Live Procedures with Convergent Dental’s 9.3 Micron CO2 Dental Laser Solea at Yankee Dental Congress 2016

Convergent Dental, Inc., a privately held dental device company, announced that Drs. David Fantarella and Jeffrey Rohde will be performing live procedures using Solea, the world’s first computer-aided, CO2 laser system to ever be cleared by the FDA for hard, soft and osseous tissue indications, at the Yankee Dental Congress taking place from January 27 to 31 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre in Boston, MA, USA.

Drs. Fantarella and Rohde will be performing live procedures anaesthesia-free and blood-free with Solea at the Yankee Dental Congress. This first-hand look at Solea is available to all Yankee Dental Congress attendees.

Solea is reliably anaesthesia-free and blood-free for the majority of hard and soft tissue procedures while delivering quick healing and minimal post-operative discomfort. These combined attributes enable efficiency gains from virtually eliminating anaesthesia, adding new procedures like soft tissue surgeries and increased new patient volume from improved patient experiences. Audience members will have the opportunity to see the dentists perform a wide variety of procedures while also having an opportunity to ask them and their patients’ questions about Solea during the presentation.

“Seeing is believing in dentistry, so we wanted to provide Yankee Dental Congress attendees with a look at Solea in action with real patients,” said Michael Cataldo, CEO of Convergent Dental. “Solea is able to perform hard and soft tissue procedures that are reliably anaesthesia-free, blood-free, suture-free and pain-free because of its unique wavelength and computer controls. Drs. Fantarella and Rohde will be showcasing these features and so much more during the presentation.”
