Finnish healthcare technology manufacturer Planmeca has donated five furnished mobile dental clinics to Ukraine.

To help deliver dental services in the war-torn country, each mobile clinic is equipped with a Planmeca dental unit, an autoclave, and other equipment and instruments needed to provide fundamental dental care.
The mobile clinic concept was developed in cooperation with its Finnish distributor Plandent to help offer dental care in areas situated far from dental clinics or to patients who would have difficulty accessing care.
“Donating these mobile clinics was the most effective way to help a country that is currently facing a challenging time. The clinics are equipped with dental solutions and designed to provide dental care to those who have been affected by the conflict. This initiative is more than dental care, it is a symbol of hope and solidarity [to] show that the people of Ukraine are not alone and that we stand with them in time of need,” said the group’s area export manager Denys Farnalskiy.
Planmeca subsidiary LM-Dental played a role in the donation efforts by providing a range of hand instruments that are crucial for performing routine dental treatments.
Teollisuusmuutot, a Finnish company specialised in hauling services, also contributed by lifting the clinic vans onto trailers free of charge.
The clinics were delivered to Ukraine with the help of Planmeca’s Ukrainian distributor, Company Ukr-Medmarket, which will provide support and maintenance for the mobile dental clinics on a local level.
