Futuredontics® announced that company founder Fred Joyal is hosting a free webinar for dental professionals called “Group Dental Practices: What Dentists Really Think about DSOs.” This special live presentation will examine the surprising findings of a major national survey of dentists’ attitudes towards group dental practices and the impact they are having on the dental profession.
The hour-long webinar will be held on April 15 beginning at 11am PST (2pm EST), and is open to all dental professionals. Everyone who attends the live presentation will receive a complimentary copy of Futuredontics’ new 15-page report, “Group Dental Practices: What They Mean to the Future of Dentistry”. After the webinar, Fred will remain available online for a Q&A session.
Based on the findings of Futuredontics’ exclusive survey of 977 dentists (including hundreds of current and former DSO staffers), this all-new presentation provides a unique look at how dentists across the country feel the rapid growth of dental groups is affecting their careers and the industry. Highlights include the top three reasons dentists join group practices, strategies solo practitioners use to compete with DSOs, the factors that cause patients leave solo practices for a group, and more.
“Spend any time on an industry forum and you’ll get the impression that a lot of dentists have a big problem with the rise of group practices,” said Fred Joyal. “Our survey found that the majority of dentists have a more nuanced view of how DSOs are changing the industry. I think anyone who watches the webinar will come away with a fresh appreciation of the whole group practice phenomenon.”
