imes-icore hosts open house at new Competency & Service Center Asia ahead of IDEM showcase

On 17 Apr, the new imes-icore Competency & Service Center Asia hosted an open house ahead of its upcoming showcase at IDEM 2024 from 19-21 Apr. In attendance was the management team of the German brand, Mr Christoph Stark, CEO and founder imes-icore, Mr Christian Mueller, COO and managing director imes-icore, and Mr David Figge, CEO pritidenta.

The new office in Singapore launched on 31 Aug 2023 responds to a strong demand for CAD/CAM milling machines and systems in the region, and aims to fulfill the German manufacturer’s vision of a 24-hour service support for its customers globally, with its two other offices in Europe and the US completing the clock.

The open house presented its visitors with an evening of networking, food and drink, and presentations from the management team which highlighted imes-icore’s outlook for its business in the APAC region and new developments that customers and partners can look forward to.

A keynote speech was shared by Christoph Stark detailing the vision and innovations of imes-icore. Addressing the question “How does imes-icore shape the future of dental CAD/CAM manufacturing?”, Stark highlighted imes-icore’s desire to provide “best-in-class” milling systems where all components of the system are integrated for ease of use.

Stark highlighted key milestones in the company’s history through its the CORiTEC system portfolio. He also detailed a full R&D pipeline for the coming years including exciting projects such as its Project Mythos additive and subtractive technology, and quality control sensors to be launched in the coming years.

Following the keynote speech, Christian Mueller presented on imes-icore’s focus on global service and support, and how it aims to help the customers to be successful in Asia. He elaborated on the “circle of success” framework which the company researched and developed to form five key pillars in guiding its support and service systems. These pillars include: Market leading machine quality, user friendliness, dealer competence, imes-icore support, and end-customer lead creation.

Concluding the presentations was David Figge from pritidenta, a member of the imes-icore Group which manufactures CAD/CAM materials from dental zirconium exclusively in Germany. Figge highlighted the company’s range of six product variants which provides a spectrum of graduated translucencies for different applications. Figge further shared on pritidenta’s ambitions for growth in the APAC region highlighting the approvals received worldwide for its pritimultidiscZrO2 , with approvals in Asia in preparation.

Joerg Brenn, General Manager Asia imes-icore, and chief host for the evening concluded the proceedings by introducing the team which will serve the operations of the Competency & Service Asia which included technical service managers Mr Dominik Kreuzer and Mr Nik Koh. Brenn summarised the confidence and vision that imes-icore holds for its expansion goals in the region that despite the company’s strong history and presence, he views the new office as a start-up with a desire to grow alongside its business partners and leave a footprint in the Asia market.
