Modern Dental Group Limited Successfully Holds Third World Dental Forum in Hong Kong

Modern Dental Group Limited successfully held the World Dental Forum 2015 on October 21and 22at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, which has attracted more than 500 participants to join the event. It has been the third time for Modern Dental Group to organise this grand event for dental professionals with an aim to promote academic sharing and exchange of technical know-how.

Programmes featured world-renowned speakers from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, France, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and the United States. It was followed by a gala dinner and visit to the Modern Dental Laboratory in Shenzhen, which is equipped with world-class production facilities. A variety of topics were covered throughout the two-day forum, including aesthetic dentistry, prosthodontics, digital dentistry and rehabilitation.

The “Digital Now” exhibition was a golden opportunity for many of the world’s renowned intraoral scanner providers to showcase their latest devices.

As academic co-organiser, the Hong Kong Prosthetic Dentistry Society participated in validating the lectures to become part of the accredited Continuing Dental Education Programmes forHong Kongdentists. Furthermore, there was a “Digital Now” exhibition during the conference. Many of the world’s most recognised intraoral scanner providers grabbed this opportunity to display their latest technological advancements in this field.

Aside from intellectual pursuits, the forum was also a platform for gathering and exchange for dentists from different parts of the world. Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean and Clinical Professor in Periodontology of Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong, together with Dr. Edmond Pow, Chairman of the Hong Kong Prosthetic Dentistry Society, were the guests of honour in this event and demonstrated their support for this conference during their opening speeches.
