Patterson Companies has announced the appointment of Gregg Kunes as its new chief digital officer. Kunes brings extensive experience in driving growth and modernisation within complex global distribution and manufacturing environments.
He will report to chief executive officer, Robert Rajalingam, and will lead Patterson’s overall digital strategy.
Kunes joins Patterson with over 20 years of experience, having most recently served as head of global digital commerce at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led digital channel development and optimisation across 12 business units and oversaw the largest global software transformation in the industry. He also held a division leadership role at Amazon, building a digital games and software portfolio from the ground up.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gregg to the team at Patterson,” said Rajalingam, chief executive officer. “His proven track record in delivering innovative and scalable solutions made him the ideal choice for this role. Patterson is investing in our ongoing digital transformation, and with Gregg leading this effort, we are optimistic and excited for the next chapter in the company’s journey.”
Looking ahead to his new role, Kunes said: “I am immensely grateful to join a company like Patterson, which is rooted in strong values and committed to its customers’ success. My focus will be on finding ways to move faster and work smarter to deliver world-class customer experiences across our markets. Digital transformation will be central to how we support our customers and enable their success.”
