Telio CAD for Zenotec: Addition to Product Range Creates New Possibilities

More shade varieties for temporary restorations and new indications

After enhancing the product range with the 20mm disc in 2014, three additional disc shades now complement the Wieland Telio CAD range for Zenotec. New to the product family is also a clear disc, the Telio CAD for Zenotec clear.

The shades B3, C2 and D2 will complement the shade range of Telio CAD for Zenotec with immediate effect. In total, Ivoclar Vivadent offers nine different shades in three different thicknesses. This addition provides more variety for the production of temporary restorations.

New clear disc

Also new to the family of Telio CAD for Zenotec is the clear disc Telio CAD for Zenotec clear. Parafunctions such as bruxism, TMJ problems or craniomandibular dysfunctions can be individually corrected with specially designed occlusal splints. Their custom-made design alleviates the stress on the teeth and TMJ and allows the masticatory muscles to relax. Telio CAD for Zenotec clear is suitable for the fabrication of corrective, positioning, stabilising and relaxation splints.

Processing under ionised compressed air

When acrylic materials (i.e., PMMA in Telio CAD for Zenotec) are processed, electrostatically charged particles are released. The evacuation of these particles during or after the milling process is difficult. The innovative ionisation function of the milling machine Zenotec select ion provides the solution: it neutralises the electrostatically charged particles by directing ionised compressed air onto tools and materials via targeted nozzles during processing.

Telio CAD for Zenotec discs

Made from cross-linked PMMA, these are suitable for the fabrication of full-contour temporary restorations and bridges, as well as implant-supported restorations. Telio CAD for Zenotec restorations are comfortable to wear and can be worn for up to 12 months. In addition, the material is characterised by its good homogeneity that results in high plaque resistance.
