VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor: Expanded indications for fixed implant-supported dentures

Manual adjustment of conventional denture teeth to implant-supported frameworks is time-consuming and does not always achieve a precise fit. The VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor changes this approach by enabling, from Feb 2026, precise CAD/CAM-supported fabrication of dental components for fixed implant dentures on titanium, cobalt-chromium, zirconia and PEEK frameworks.

This expands the use of the polychromatic, highly cross-linked composite disc made from the VITA Microfiller Reinforced Polymer Matrix (MRP), the same material used for all VITA premium denture teeth in modern digital workflows.

With the extended indications, users gain greater flexibility in digital denture production. In addition to manufacturing teeth for removable partial and full dentures, accurately fitting tooth elements can now be designed and milled for use on supporting frameworks, allowing optimised layer thickness and a consistent bonding gap in fixed implant restorations.

The material also opens up new functional and aesthetic options for implant-supported dentures, with a broad choice of framework materials enabling tailored clinical solutions for different cases and preferences.

Made from a highly cross-linked, inorganically filled PMMA, the disc offers strong wear resistance and can be polished. Its integrated shade gradient supports a natural appearance in the aesthetic zone, while compatibility with standard milling systems ensures reliable and efficient processing.
